Level Descriptions
Juniors Ages 8-12: minimum requirement of 1 year previous dance experience, class material will focus on establishing, developing, and mastering foundational level concepts and skills.
Intermediate Ages 11+: minimum requirement of 2 years previous focused dance experience in the discipline, class material will expand on foundational level concepts and skills, increasing complexity of work, and deepening abilities.
Advanced Ages 13+: minimum requirement of 3-4 years previous focused dance training at Intermediate level in the discipline,, class material will focus on complexity, nuance, advanced level skill work.

Dress Code
Ballet: (BEA uniform)
Intermediate & Advanced level – Any Wearmoir skirted leotard in “lilac” found here or here. Pink tights, pink ballet shoes. Hair must be worn in a ballet bun or French twist.
Juniors Level- Any Wearmoi skirted leotard in “French blue” found here or here. Pink tights, pink ballet shoes. Hair must be worn in a ballet bun or French twist.
Modern: Solid colored, form fitting bottoms such as spandex shorts or leggings, form fitting or flowy tops. Solid color crew socks or bare feet depending on the teacher’s discretion. Hair should be secured away from face.
Jazz: Solid colored, form fitting clothing such as a leotard, form fitting tops, spandex shorts or leggings. Acceptable footwear includes jazz shoes, foot undies/paws, bare feet – no socks. Hair should be secured away from face.
Tap: Solid colored, form fitting clothing such as a leotard, form fitting tops, spandex shorts or leggings. Tap shoes must be lace-up. Please ensure that tap screws are tight before class. Hair may be worn in bun, ponytail or braid.
Hip-hop: Outfit may reflect personal style with the ability to move freely, nothing excessively baggy. Shoes also should not be worn into the studio off the street.
Conditioning: Comfortable athletic clothing that allows for full range of motion. Street shoes may be worn, but must be designated indoor shoes only, to prevent wear and tear on marley floors. Hair may be worn as desired and as is suitable for the class work.
