Bella Sheckells

Isabella Sheckells began dancing at the age of 5. Bella trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, and several different styles of Modern dance. When she turned 15, she began training in a student teacher program under Ciara Miller Driscoll. After 2 years of student assisting, Bella became a student teacher. Bella joined the Hereford Dance Company at Hereford High School. Under the direction of Erin Norton, Bella was awarded top choreographer at the Maryland Dance Alliance, she became the president of the Junior Company and an officer for the National Dance Honor Society. Bella was Captain of HHS Dance Company during her senior year of high school. After graduating in 2020, Bella was accepted into the prestigious Shenandoah University Dance Program with several scholarships and awards, training under Maurice Fraga, Tiffanie Carson, and Erica Helm. Working towards her BFA in dance for a year, she found herself back home with her family. From 2021-present, Bella has taught ages 2-18 all genres of dance. She has a love for choreography and performance. Bella enjoys sharing her passion of dance with the next generation!
